SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping & Delivery

If you’ve bought an item that is ready to ship, see below for delivery times and service details. 

 

If you’ve bought an item that’s made to order, your item must first be handmade to your specifications before being sent off to you. Please allow up to three weeks for your made to order item to arrive with you, or up to four weeks if it’s a larger item that requires hallmarking. See below for further information about delivery details. 

UK shipping

Your order will be sent with Royal Mail’s Tracked service, either with the 24-hour service or the 48-hour service depending on your selection. Lady Bricks offers free 48-hour shipping on all UK orders over £50, and free 24-hour shipping on orders over £100. For orders below these amounts, 48-hour shipping is £3.50 and 24-hour shipping is £5. Your item will be fully tracked to the delivery point, with a photo taken on delivery. For Northern Ireland, unfortunately as a result of the new GSPR regulations, I can no longer ship to Northern Ireland for the foreseeable future. I'll be working hard to find a solution that's affordable for my small business to hopefully be shipping to Northern Ireland again one day soon.

Europe shipping

Your order with be sent with Royal Mail’s International Tracked & Signed service, which takes approximately 3-5 working days to deliver. Postage to Europe is £9.95. Unfortunately as a result of the European Union's new GSPR regulations I can no longer ship to the EU, EEA, or Northern Ireland for the foreseeable future. I'll be working hard to find a solution that's affordable for my small business and hopefully be shipping to these countries again one day soon. Your item will be fully tracked to the delivery point, with a signature required on delivery. Please note that your delivery may be subject to further charges by your country’s Customs Office. You will be responsible for any additional charges.

International shipping

Your order with be sent with Royal Mail’s International Tracked & Signed service, which takes approximately 5-7 working days to deliver. International shipping (beyond UK and Europe) is £16. Your item will be fully tracked to the delivery point, with a signature required on delivery. Please note that your delivery may be subject to further charges by your country’s Customs Office. You will be responsible for any additional charges.

Returns & Repairs

Lady Bricks jewellery is all handmade and mostly made to order, so slight variations from what’s shown on the website are to be expected. Your item may not look exactly the same as the item on the website, as each item is unique and individual. 

 

If, for whatever reason, you’re not completely satisfied with your item, please get in touch with me at lady.bricks.silver@gmail.com so we can resolve the issue. 

 

When you buy something from Lady Bricks, I want you to be totally happy with your jewellery and the whole Lady Bricks experience.

Ready to ship items

Lady Bricks has a 30-day return policy on “ready to ship” items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn and unused, and in its complete original packaging. You will also need proof of purchase. You must contact me to initiate the return within 30 days of receiving the item. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to me. You will then receive the refund (excluding original delivery charge) within 14 days of the returned items being received by me. If you’re returning the item because you have changed your mind, you will cover the return shipping costs including tracking and insurance costs. If you’re returning the item because it’s faulty or incorrect to your order, return shipping is free. See below for more information on faulty items. The item being returned is your responsibility until it reaches me, so please use a delivery service that is tracked and insures you for the value of the item. If the returned item shows signs of damage or wear and tear, beyond what’s reasonable in you receiving and inspecting the item, the return may be rejected or you may be charged an additional cost to cover any necessary cleaning, repairing, and polishing of the item. The exception to the returns policy above is all earrings, which cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons and customer protection. To initiate a return, please email me at lady.bricks.silver@gmail.com so we can discuss the return. If your return request is approved, I’ll provide you with the information you need to ship the item back to me. Once the product is returned, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the return and refund criteria. If approved, you will receive your refund within 14 days. If more than 14 days have passed since your return was approved, please contact me at lady.bricks.silver@gmail.com. Please note: If you are an international customer (outside of the UK), please make sure any customs forms are marked as “Returned Goods” to ensure no additional customs fees are incurred. In the instance an item is incorrectly marked and Lady Bricks incurs a customs fee, you will be charged. It may also delay the refund process.

Made to order / bespoke / commissioned items

I’m unable to accept returns on items that have been made to order with your specifications. The exception to this is if there’s a fault with your item on arrival. Please check your item as soon as you receive it and get in touch within 48 hours if your item is faulty or incorrect to your order, ideally including photographs and a description of the issue. I carefully check and document every item of jewellery before it's dispatched so any faults on arrival will likely be due to shipping, for which I am not responsible. I will, however, work closely with you and the shipping company to resolve any issues. Email me at lady.bricks.silver@gmail.com and we can discuss the issue and how best to resolve it.

Faulty items

Please check your item as soon as you receive it, and get in touch with me at lady.bricks.silver@gmail.com within 48 hours (ideally including photographs and a description of the issue) if your item is faulty or incorrect to your order so we can discuss the issue and how best to resolve it. I carefully check and document every item of jewellery before it's dispatched so any faults on arrival will likely be due to shipping, for which I am not responsible. I will, however, work closely with you and the shipping company to resolve any issues.

Items that don’t fit

Your item will be checked multiple times as part of the production process to ensure it matches the size specifications of your order, so take care that the size information on your order is correct. Take a look at my page on 'how to know your size' for information about measuring your size for jewellery. If your item doesn’t fit once it arrives, get in touch with me at lady.bricks.silver@gmail.com as soon as possible to discuss the issue and how best to resolve it. If it’s possible to resize your item, it will come with an additional cost as in most cases your item will have been handmade to your order specification. In some cases, it will not be possible to resize your item.

Repairs

If your item gets broken or damaged at any point, please contact me at lady.bricks.silver@gmail.com to discuss repairing it, including photographs and a description of the issue. In some cases it may not be possible to repair your item. Repairs and any costs associated are decided on a case-by-case basis, so if you have any issue with your item please get in touch and we can chat about it.
